PGF 16U & 14U Platinum Nationals: Championship Picture Coming Into Clearer Focus

Madison Droz, a Central Florida commit, has hit two home runs this week at PGF 16U Platinum Nationals for the Tampa Mustangs-Walford team.

The PGF 16U and 14U Platinum bracket play has been exciting since starting on Tuesday with excellent players and teams fighting for the chance to play Saturday at Bill Barber Park’s Deanna Manning Stadium in Irvine, California (the 14U Platinum Championship is at 9:30 am PST; the 16U Platinum Championship is a noon PST).

Here’s a closer look at how things are shaping up heading into Friday’s final games including the Final Four from each Winner’s Bracket.

The early games will ultimately set up the match-ups against the survivors of the Loser’s Bracket today then the finals tomorrow as all but two teams will see their time in California end by sundown.
