PGF Nationals: Our 10 Picks to Play Deep Into The 14U Premier Bracket

Week 2 of the 2023 Nationals starts Wednesday and runs through the championships on Sunday.

It’s the calm before the storm across Southern California as the PGF Nationals at the 14U, 12U and 10U Premier and Platinum levels wrapped up pool play today and will start bracket competition on Wednesday.

Kicking off at 8 am PST, the top travel teams at PGF will take the fields in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Anaheim, Tustin and, they hope, Irvine… because that’s where the finals will be played this weekend.

Checking out the pool play action on Wednesday, we asked several 14U Premier coaches who they think will have a chance to make it to the finals which will be played Sunday, August 6th at 3:30 pm PST.

Note: earlier on Sunday, the 12U Premier finals is scheduled to kick off at noon PST and the 10U Premier finals at 9 am PST… the 14U and 12U Platinum Championships will be played the day before, Saturday, August 5th.

Here, in our unofficial and unscientific poll are the teams that coaches feel are the ones to watch:
