Former Georgia infielder Savana Sikes is transferring to Ole Miss, she announced on Tuesday.
“Super excited to announce that I will be finishing my academic and athletic career at Ole Miss,” Sikes wrote on social media. “UGA will forever hold a special place in my heart and I cannot thank everyone enough who has supported me along the way. It feels good to be a Rebel!! Hotty Toddy.”
For her career at Georgia, Sikes was a career .245 hitter, with 19 home runs; 95 RBIs; 30 doubles; and 121 runs scored.
During the 2022 season, Sikes batted .285 in 57 games. She tied for the Georgia team lead with twelve doubles and added two home runs, 17 RBIs, and was a perfect 6-6 in stolen bases.
A graduate transfer, Sikes has one year of eligibility remaining.
