Saturday night was Game 2 of the Scrap Yard vs. Nationals weekend series at the Scrap Yard Sports Complex in Conroe, Texas and the contest saw the debut of pitcher Monica Abbott.
The former Olympian dominated as she so often does, not giving up the first hit until the 4th inning… all that would be the only one she’d give up all night. Abbott went all seven innings in the 8-0 win and compiled six strikeouts.
