Send In Your Nomination for the Extra Inning Softball’s National Club Player & Club Team of the Week by Wednesday, July 14 at Noon EST

A LOT going on in the travel ball world right now as many top tournaments are taking place from coast to coast. We just got back from Atlanta Legacy and look forward to Triple Crown Nationals this week and many more coming up this weekend and, very soon, nationals!

Each week during the summer, Extra Inning Softball is recognizing a National Club Player & Club Team of the Week. Those honored will typically be announced on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

This week’s candidates will include play from Monday, July 5 through Sunday, July 11, 2021.

The cutoff for submitting the nominations for Club Player & Team of the Week is Wednesday at Noon EST/9 am PST. Send in this week’s information by then to be considered!

National Club Player of the Week Criteria

Individually, we’re looking for standouts who excelled in the circle, at the plate or in the field so be sure to nominate your favorite performance(s) by submitting the following:

• Player Name
• Grad Year (example: Class of 2020 or Senior)
• Position(s)
• Club team name with city/state
• Stats for the week (be as detailed as possible!)
• Up-to-date season stats if possible
• Recruiting information if applicable
• Any interesting background on the player
• Action and/or head shots
• Contact info (if we’d like more info or quotes)

National Club Team of the Week Criteria

Teams of all divisions–18U down to 10U– should include the following to be considered:

• Team name
• Age division
• Head coach
• Week’s record
• Where played (event/tournament)
• Key wins (championship win, for example)
• Standout player performances as applicable
• Team or key player photo (if available)
