Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? Both LK Black and Firecrackers Brashear are two very great clubs. I’m surrounded by some of the best talent in the country as well as coaches who take a great amount of pride in providing the best opportunities for their players. Coach Josh (Dans) with LK Black and Coach Sean (Brashear) with Firecrackers Brashear saw me play and asked if I would join their team. I was very honored to get the opportunity to represent two very prestigious clubs.

Tell us about your high school team and how you are doing? My team placed 3rd in the ILH Division 1 conference. As a sophomore, I got the opportunity to play with and against some of the best players in the state. Throughout the season we played through several ups and downs, but, unfortunately, fell short in the end.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals last summer? Last summer, my team (LK Black Hawaii) played in the PGF Premier Nationals 16U. I had a blast getting the opportunity to compete with and against some of the best players in the country.

What tournament/showcase/event are you looking forward to this summer and why? I will be attending Alliance Nationals, Patriot Games, Colorado Sparkler Power Pool, Zoom Into June, Top Gun Invitational and the Brashear College Recruiting Camp. I am extremely excited to get an opportunity to compete against the best talent in the country. I take great pride in representing my family, my team and the state of Hawaii.

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? I personally feel it was Virginia Unity-Johnson/Ross. I got to compete against some of the best in the country with many college coaches in attendance while also getting the chance to play on ESPN. I felt this was a great opportunity for me to showcase my abilities and show people the type of player I am.

I am never satisfied and always strive to be great in both softball and my academics.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am interested in dermatology or anesthesiology. I want to spend my time helping others and making a positive impact on their lives.

Who is your sports hero and why? My sports hero is my older brother, Bryson Ho. Ever since I was a little girl I have followed in his footsteps. To this day, I continue to learn and look up to him. He is one of the main reasons why I am the athlete that I am today.

What’s the best hype song and why? The best hype song is “Lifetime” by Topshakaz because it always calms me down and gets me in the right state of mind.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite TV show is “All American: Homecoming” because I like to watch sports dramas.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? My secret talent is that I am really good at Ping Pong.
