Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I became involved with this organization (Fury Platinum X) because I always want to play on a competitive team that plays the best competition. I moved to this team this past fall, so I could play with three of my future Kentucky teammates.

Do you have any suggestions for training methods or apps and why? I don’t have any methods, just that working hard every day goes a long way. I get up at 4:30 a.m. to go to the gym before school starts. My dad created a program for me to do that works on all parts of my body. I also always stay after practice to get more reps and I am normally one of the last ones to leave.
Can you tell us about your experience at Alliance Nationals this summer? This past summer I only played a couple of tournaments because I was coming off of an injury to my knee (I slid into a base at the end of school ball season and ripped open my knee. The knee required 20 stitches).

What was your favorite fall tournament/event and why? I loved going to Clearwater, Florida (for the Clearwater Fall Classic). It is a beautiful area and I love getting to play against new competition.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? Mojo-Fisher. They had several big commits and I loved competing with them. The game was a battle and we ended up winning, 1-0. It was a great game on both sides.

Can you tell us why you chose to commit to Kentucky? I chose to commit to Kentucky because I loved the atmosphere and how supportive everyone was there. I was looking for a fit that would feel like an extended family. I immediately got the feeling that Kentucky would be this for me. The coaches made me feel like one of their own kids right away and I knew this place would take care of me and push me to grow into the best version of myself. Everyone told me I would get that feeling of “when you know you, you know” and I sure did get that stepping on the campus of Kentucky.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? Physical Therapy. I am interested in how the human body works and also how the body needs therapy to be able to perform correctly. I have seen so many people have to have surgery and need therapy. I think it will also be a way to use my sports background and this will keep me in the sports area.
Who is your sports hero and why? Sis Bates. I love her energy and how she plays the shortstop position. She is a great defender and I love that because that is my favorite part of the game as well.
What’s the best hype song and why? I like “You can’t Stop Me” by Andy Minoe. It gets me ready to play and the lyrics inspire me that I can do anything I want.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “Vampire Diaries.” It was so interesting to me and I could watch it every day.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I used to be on a competitive cheer team in middle school and I could tumble really well. I could do back handsprings and back tucks.
