Tell us about the Rogue FC organization and how you became involved with them…
I have an older cousin that played for Randy Kaye, who is head of the Rogue Organization. I have seen him coach some really good softball players and even when they would go away to school, they would always come back to say “Hi” and talk about what a good coach he was to them.

Can you talk about your freshman season at Chandler High?
I loved playing at Chandler High school because I had to learn how to manage school and softball together. I had to learn how to manage my time with finishing school work, studying for tests and getting good grades so that I could be eligible to play. I also was able to play on the same team with one of my best friends. Up until last season we were on the same club team. So playing together again made it more fun.

What are your goals for this summer?
My goal for this summer is to help my team win a national championship. I hope with the extra practice I’ve been putting in on the side with hitting and pitching that I’m able to stand out in front of coaches when I’m playing with my team or participating in camps.
