I MISS IT!
Abby Sliman, a 2024 USSSA All-American for the Gulf Coast Bombers HTX 14U, posted a video on Monday, showing her frustration with all that’s going on with the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. With many high school seasons and travel ball tournaments postponed or cancelled, Sliman’s video highlighted the emotions many players across the nation are feeling.
But Sliman also hit the cages. She did whatever she could to keep active in this situation.
More work! If you aren't in your yard at least 1 hour a day hitting that tee like a mad woman, working on that catch or breaking your neighbors window with that pitch (kidding) you're doing it wrong, if you don't have a yard study the game inside. Whatever you do, don't get too comfortable.

FINAL SEC AWARDS
The SEC announced on Tuesday it was cancelling spring sports for the remainder of the school year, but not before Kentucky’s Miranda Stoddard was named the final Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for 2020.
Stoddard hit the game-winning three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth and two scoreless innings with two Ks in the final two innings to pick up the victory in the Wildcats’ wild 16-15 win over Marshall. Kentucky rallied from a 15-4 deficit to pull out the victory.
Stoddard, who played for Orange Lutheran, CA, and Athletics-Mercado, is featured on the reality series “Game Ready” on YouTube.
We highly recommend you watch it!

Florida’s Kendyl Lindaman was named SEC co-Player of the Week and Florida’s Natalie Lugo was selected SEC Pitcher of the Week after helping the Gators to wins over Penn and Florida State last week.
Lindaman went 4 for 4 with a pair of timely home runs in the two wins. Lugo extended her scoreless innings streak to 14.0 after notching a pair of saves.
