Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? They’re such amazing people. I used to be on their team when it was Tennessee Mojo back before Covid, but I had to leave because I could not travel (due to the pandemic).
What are some of your training methods/training routine? I hit almost every day off of the tee and front toss. I also do everydays for fielding and take groundballs. Sometimes I switch it up, get my cardio in different ways such as regular sprints or circuit drills. I also find drills on YouTube and try them out. Some have stuck with me and others haven’t. It is all about what works for you.
What areas are you focusing on/trying to improve this fall? I am focusing specifically on my strength and getting faster.
Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? We made it to the second to last day of the tournament. We had some really good games and our last one just did not end up the way we had hoped.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? I feel like our toughest opponent was Georgia Impact because they had a good pitching staff and they were making great plays.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am interested in psychology because my dream is to help people. If I can change just one person’s life and help them realize that they are good enough and they are worth it, then I have fulfilled my purpose and will continue to learn and grow in that aspect.
Can you tell us about your decision to commit to Texas A&M? It was pretty much automatic. I love the atmosphere, the culture, academics and everything else that comes with A&M.
Who is your sports hero and why? My sports hero is my cousin Bailey Vrazel. She is an amazing person outside of softball. She is my hitting coach for a while and I could talk about anything to her. She understands me and takes the time to ask me how my day was. Also, she was an absolute stud in college.
What’s the best hype song and why? The best hype song for me right now is “Freak on a Leash” by Korn just because of the chaotic energy it brings and gives me an adrenaline rush similar to how I feel before a game and that is awesome. I love to jam out to it.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite TV show to binge is “The Office” because it is so funny and gives me serotonin.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I am a good interior decorator.
