DIRT DINNERS!!!

Catchers are a different breed. They take a pounding all game. They wear more gear than anyone on the field, which can take a toll during those 100-degree summer days.

Kaiya Fabela, #70 in the 2025 Extra Elite 100 and the #23 catcher in her class, had the Quote of the Week the other day when she summed up what it means to be a catcher: “If you don’t like dirt for dinner, you can’t be behind the dish!”
