Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I was on Mojo-Ross when we merged with Coach Josh (Johnson’s) Unity team (14U summer). We wanted to join our teams to make the best, most competitive team possible.

What are some of your training methods/training routine? Intense body training three times a week (lifting, agility, etc.), hit every day, defensive drills/fielding work two-three times a week, virtual, hitting with Rob Crews once per week and Virtual pro batter and HitTrax used daily.

What areas are you focusing on/trying to improve this fall? Everything, lol. I’m always trying to improve — power, throwing velo and speed.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? Awesome! I love PGF! I’ve been 5 times and I just love going and competing against the best teams in the country. This year, I was able to go watch some of the 2024s on my team play in the high school All-American Game, which was amazing!

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? (Florida State-committed) Ashtyn Danley. We had to face her multiple times in high school softball, including the state championship game. Then we would go on to face her again in travel ball. It’s always fun competing and trying to get better against great competitors. We played together on the first travel team I ever played on back when I was 6 (years old).

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am still trying to decide between being a dermatologist, orthodontist, health nutritionist or going into cosmetology. I love health and helping other people.

Who is your sports hero and why? Pat Summitt. Being from Tennessee, I’ve always admired the way she transcended female sports and the way she promoted the female athlete to get women closer to sports equality. She’s the goat!

What’s the best hype song and why? “He Knows my Name.” Helps me remember the reason I’m able to go out and play the game I love. Reminds me to never take anything for granted.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “Greys Anatomy.” It’s just something that I like to watch in my free time. It helps educate me a little bit.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? Yes, I’m an excellent hair braider, lol.
