RELEASE: Transfer Portal Combine to Take Place at Scenic City

Connect Sports and College Sports Evaluation have announced that they are partnering to put on a Transfer Portal Combine event as part of the Scenic City Summer.

“College Sports Evaluation and Connect Sports are bringing athletes in the Transfer Portal the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches during Scenic City Summer. CSE will capture verified sensor data metrics of all participants before live game play. A digital profile, that can be shared with coaches, will be available through CSE following the event,” stated a recent release.

Set to take place at Camp Jordan in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 22nd, the event, which is jointly partnered between the two organizations, will include a 4-hour time slot, beginning at 4:00 pm local time. Two hours will be dedicated to data collection by CSE, which will then compile the data and metrics to reflect a player’s true standing based solely on the numbers.

Following the data collection portion of the event, there will be a 2-hour live scrimmage including all participants in the Combine.

A nominal fee of $20 per participant is the only cost to players wishing to take part in the Transfer Portal Combine; the event is open to any player in the NCAA’s transfer portal who does not yet have a new destination. To register for the Scenic City event, click here.

The Transfer Portal Combine at Scenic City will be the inaugural event in a series; a second Combine will be held as part of the Colorado 4th of July event less than a week later. The geographically-separated Combine events are designed to make travel easier and to take geographical proximity into consideration for transferring players looking for their new homes.
