A week from today, we’ll begin the final push of the 2021 Extra Elite 100 as we honor those seniors who will be signing in November.
You probably won’t see two top players from Athletics – Mercado/Smith 18U for a while, though, as pitcher Stevie Hansen and infielder Quincee “Q” Lilio will all but assuredly come late in the publishing of the rankings–meaning towards the end because both were Top 10 honorees in the previous 2021 Extra Elite 100 rankings released in January.
This summer, we watched both several times including at Top Club National where they led their A’s team to the championship win at the 18U level.
