The 3rd season of Athletes Unlimited will kick off on Friday evening, and 50% of the league’s opening weekend will be broadcast on linear television.
Season 3 of AU will kick off at 7 pm Eastern on Friday evening, with the game broadcast on ESPN2. That game will feature Week 1 teams captained by reigning league Rookie of the Year Carrie Eberle (blue) and Amanda Chidester (orange).
Game 2 of the opening-night doubleheader is scheduled for a 9:30 pm Eastern first pitch and will be streamed on ESPN+; as a reminder, ESPN+ is a separate, subscription-based platform and is not included in any cable packages. The streaming service is available in a monthly package.
The second game of Friday’s doubleheader will feature Team Ocasio (gold) against Team Zerkle (purple).
Later in the weekend, Saturday’s games are set for 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm Eastern first pitches, with both games streamed live on ESPN+. The weekend finale doubleheader on Sunday will be aired on ESPN2 at 7 and 9:30 pm, respectively.
