ROSEMONT, Illinois – The team captains and game schedule are set for the penultimate week of the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Championship Season, which begins on Friday, August 16, at Parkway Bank Sports Complex.
Outfielder Amanda Lorenz returns to lead the Gold team for the second straight week after completing Week Three with a league-high 1,060 leaderboard points. But, her lead entering Week Four stands at just four points after catcher Sashel Palacios piloted her team to a 3-0 record during her first career stint as a captain.
Palacios leads the Orange squad into Week Four, while pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl secured her third consecutive stint as a team leader and will captain the Blue team in the upcoming week.
Pitcher Megan Faraimo makes her seasonal debut as a captain after helping Palacios post the perfect 3-0 mark in Week Three. Faraimo, who served as a captain in Week Three during the 2023 Championship Season, will anchor the Purple team in Week Four.
