Athletics Mercado AZ 2026 MIF/OF Avery Gehrke is at the USSSA Select 30 National Training Camp this weekend in Las Vegas, NV.

I had another amazing day at USSSA Select 30 National Training Camp today! Today we had classroom sessions, a hitting session, a fielding session and games.
We had two different classroom sessions, which were marketing and NCSA. In marketing we did interviews with Haley Cruse and used the picture station. For our NCSA classroom session, we spoke about how to start our profile, how important grades are and about skills videos.
Next we had our hitting and fielding sessions. For hitting, we did front toss on the field. We were able to test new bats out that just went onto the market. For our fielding session, I went to infield where we did position-specific reps.
To end the day, we had two games. I was able to showcase all of my skills offensively and defensively. These games were so much fun and I got to know my coach and teammates very well. We won both of the games, which made it that much better.
