Running from June 21 to June 23, this event promises three days of intense competition and thrilling matchups, drawing teams and fans from across Idaho and nearby states. The games are held at two key locations: Discovery Park in Meridian and Willow Lane Park in Boise.
Boise Blast Organization
The Boise Blast organization is now in its 27th year and boasts a rich history of promoting and celebrating fastpitch softball. Founded in 1997, it has grown exponentially, both in scale and reputation.
Boise Blast Summer Shootout: New Leadership
This year marks a new chapter as Jolie Hultner and her husband, Jeff Hultner, take on their first year as tournament directors as they oversee the Boise Blast Summer Shootout tournament which started in 2000. Their fresh leadership and dedication promise to bring new energy and excitement to this already prestigious event.
Competition, Format and Teams
This year’s Boise Blast Summer Shootout features a lineup of 53 teams, ensuring a weekend packed with action. The format is a 4-game guarantee with a double elimination structure, providing ample opportunities for teams to battle their way to the top. The competition is divided into four age divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U, and a combined 16U/18U, each promising its own brand of excitement and skill.
