Extra Inning Softball is honored to announce the Class of 2028 catchers representing Region four (Southwest). Region 4 is comprised of Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas

The Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee makes selections following the review and evaluation of nominations submitted by coaches. Primary factors used when determining player placement include the following:

• coach and regional leadership recommendations
• data/stats
• strength of schedule
• tournaments attended
• top opponents played against
• whether a player plays up

The Region Four (Southwest) announcement is the third of six all-region announcements.

We congratulate all the Class of 2028 Southwest Region 4 catchers on their first and second team placements.  We look forward now to the launch of the Extra Elite 100 catcher rankings which launch June 24, 2024 and conclude on July 5, 2024. We thank all the coaches and leadership who took the time to nominate their players. If you do not see a deserving player recognized in our All-Region rankings, we encourage you to check with the coach before reaching out to our EIS staff.
