The New York Lady Nightmares are teaming up with ODM Metrics—run by OnDeck Softball— to host a metric camp at the LIB Fieldhouse in Bellmore, N.Y. from 10 am to 1 pm EST on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Camp Director Eric Bartfield, for one, is excited about the event taking place a week from this Saturday.
“It’s beneficial for these players to get their metrics and their Allister Index before their high school and travel seasons start to see where they stack up and what they need to work on,” Bartfield explains.
“We believe that this camp is an awesome tool to let people know where they stand and push each other to get better.”
The Lady Nightmares, under Coach Bartfield’s direction, have run a wide variety of camps including ones for Gold Glove winning Mizzou shortstop Jenna Laird, Austin Wasserman’s High Level Throwing, Jimmy Mullis Hitting Camp and Zoned Owner Duke Baxter.
The New York Lady Nightmares ODM Testing 2023 camp will cost $75 per player and its organizer points to many benefits that will make the event well worth attending.
“I think it’s very unique because the Lady Nightmares are bringing a lot of elite trainers and coaches to Long Island, New York,” Bartfield, who can be reached at Thenewyorkladynightmares@gmail.com, explains.
“I don’t know if anyone has had camps or clinics with such an array of top trainers in the span of a little over a year, so I think that the fact we’re in the Northeast and trying to get kids better–including opening up their eyes to the real culture of softball and high level training and better coaches—is unique in itself.”
Plus, let’s be real: it’s New York with tons to do before and after the event.
