Uncommitted Rankings Coming for Uncommitted 2027 athletes: At Extra Inning Softball, the next phase of the Class of 2027 rankings is set to deliver one of the most impactful recruiting resources of the year—focused exclusively on uncommitted athletes still navigating their path to the next level.

As college programs continue to prioritize verified performance, projection, and consistency, this release provides a critical snapshot of the nation’s top available talent.

The Class of 2027 Uncommitted Player Rankings officially launch on April 13, offering unmatched visibility for athletes and valuable insight for college coaches seeking their next difference-makers.

National Honor Roll

The EIS National Honor Roll is designed to recognize the game’s top student-athletes—those who are excelling not only on the field, but in the classroom at the highest level. This spotlight will feature athletes across three academic tiers, with each release date highlighting a distinct level of achievement:

📅 April 10 — Distinguished Prospects (3.5–3.75 GPA)
📅April 11 — Extra Selects (3.75–3.99 GPA)
📅April 12 — Elite Scholars (4.0+ GPA)

Regional Rankings Rollout by Position

This year, the Class of 2027 Uncommitted Player Rankings will be released by position across all regions nationally, creating a structured, position-by-position evaluation before advancing to the national stage. The rollout schedule is as follows:

However, metrics alone do not define our process. We rely on a trusted Regional Advisory Network—comprised of experienced head coaches and program leaders nationwide—who contribute firsthand insight to ensure each list reflects true on-field performance.

Each rankings cycle requires a substantial investment of time from our staff, including detailed stat analysis, video verification, and thorough review of every nomination. This is an intentional, hands-on process designed to uphold accuracy, consistency, and credibility at a national level.
