After honoring over 900 players across the United States with all-region honors, Extra Inning Softball is proud to begin spotlighting the best of the best with the unveiling of the Extra Elite 100 Infielders.

Over the course of the next two weeks, Extra Inning Softball will be highlighting the Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 infielders. You can view our complete nominations and rankings schedule HERE.

The Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee makes selections following the review and evaluation of nominations submitted by coaches. Primary factors used when determining player placement include the following:

• data/stats
• strength of schedule
• tournaments attended
• top opponents played against
• whether a player plays up
• coach and regional leadership recommendations
