Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 Player Ranking Now Open

Extra Inning Softball is currently accepting nominations for the Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 player rankings.

The nomination period for the Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 player rankings opened on March 11 and will close on April 5 at 5pm MST and can be submitted on the EIS website.

The unveiling of the Extra Elite 100 player rankings begins on April 29 with the announcement of the regional rankings and the Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 rankings will commence on May 6 and conclude on June 1.

On March 8, 2024, Extra Inning Softball announced a rankings platform change that implements a more precise and structured approach, committed to offering a ranking system that accurately reflects the talents and abilities of the top players in fastpitch.

Our approach involves first announcing the rankings for the top players in each region, showcasing standout performers in local communities. This regional focus will continue to play a crucial role in our rankings, as we believe in the significance of honoring talent at all levels of the game.

Class of 2027 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings Regional Breakdown

Region 1 (Northeast) 

Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia.

Region 2 (Southeast) 

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee

Region 3 (Midwest) 

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin

Region 4 (Southwest)
