Class of 2028 All-Region Announcements Begin on June 3

Class of 2028 All-Region Teams!

Extra Inning Softball is honored to announce that the revealing of the Class of 2028 All-Region teams will commence on June 3.

The all-region announcements will begin with Region One pitchers and continue until all-region teams have been announced for all six regions across the country.

Following the announcement of the all-region teams, Extra Inning Softball will highlight the best of the best by revealing the Class of 2028 Extra Elite 100 rankings for pitchers.

All-Region teams, and Extra Elite 100 rankings, will also be announced for pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders.

Class of 2028 All-Region Team Announcement Schedule (Pitchers)

Region One (Northeast) Pitchers – June 3
Region Two (Southeast) Pitchers – June 4
Region Three (Midwest) Pitchers – June 5
Region Four (Southwest) Pitchers – June 6
Region Five (Mountain) Pitchers – June 7
Region Six (West) Pitchers – June 8

The Extra Inning Softball committee makes selections following the review and evaluation of nominations submitted by coaches.

Please note that any player not included in this year’s rankings, despite being ranked previously, may be due to our inability to gather updated information. Despite extensive efforts to contact as many coaches and organizational leaders as possible, there were several we did not hear back on from. We strongly encourage coaches, leaders, and parents to be proactive in meeting nomination deadlines.

This collaborative approach is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our annual evaluations. Before reaching out to our staff with complaints, we ask that you first check with your coach to see if your player was nominated or to see if all information we requested was provided in a timely manner. We kindly request that you do not reach out to our EIS staff before speaking with your coach. Simply email us at rankings@extrainningsoftball.com and allow up to 5 business days for a response.
