Earlier this week, we ran our complete list of the Extra Elite 100 College Coaches list and one of those who made the Top 100 was Patti Gerckens, who has helped UC San Diego go from a Division III school to now being DI.
We honor those coaches who make a difference not just on the field, but in the lives of their players off of it.

She cares for each and every one of her players and instills life-long lessons within every individual that passes through the program.
