Clara Hudgens
Hudgens is an incoming freshman from Huntly, Ill., where she was a four-year letterman at Huntly High School. The outfielder led her team to three-straight conference and regional championship titles (2021, 2022, and 2023), while also winning both the Sectional and Super-Sectional Championship her sophomore year (2021).
During high school, Hudgens picked up several accolades, including being named to the Fox Valley All-Conference team (2021, 2022, and 2023), the all-area team (2022 and 2023), and the all-state second team (2023).
She also set the single-season record with eight triples in a season.
Green on Hudgens:Â
“Clara’s elite speed will be a welcome addition to our squad. She’s a triple threat in the batter’s box and an excellent defensive outfielder.”
