2021 had a lot of challenges for the Houston Cougars. The lingering effects of the COVID pandemic were just part of those challenges in a year that included the lowest win total of head coach Kristin Vesely’s tenure and a 5th-place finish in the American conference standings.
And this for a team just two years removed from a regional final appearance.
