Where Softball Dreams Rise High—Just Like Colorado’s Peaks

Every summer, the heart of the softball world shifts west to the majestic peaks of Colorado, where four of the most prestigious events in youth fastpitch collide: the Patriot Games, Gold Cup, IDT (Independence Day Tournament), and The Sparkler. Together, these events form a summer softball super-circuit that draws thousands of athletes, hundreds of teams, and a tidal wave of college coaches from across the country.
Teams from all 50 states descend on Colorado for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to test their mettle against the nation’s best. Whether it’s the up-and-coming 12U squad playing in the Sparkler or an elite 18U roster at IDT, these events serve as more than tournaments—they’re proving grounds.
