Collins: Diamond Elite Hitter

Mariah Collins of Rouse High School (Leander, Texas) was voted by fans as the Diamond Elite National High School Hitter of the Week after delivering a powerful playoff performance that helped send her team to the next round. The Class of 2027 catcher stood out during her team’s Texas 5A Division II first-round playoff series against Tivy High School, compiling six hits across two games—including a momentum-shifting home run.

We’ll dive into Collins’ standout week at the plate, her postseason impact, national recognition, and the momentum she’s building as one of the top hitters in her class.
