Extra Inning Softball is offering an internship designed for enthusiastic and motivated students who are eager to attend and cover softball tournaments over the summer.
As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to attend softball tournaments and events. Your responsibilities will include representing EIS, engaging with coaches to learn more about players and organizations, and seeking out compelling story opportunities. This is an excellent chance to build your portfolio, gain real-world experience, and make valuable industry connections.

- Event Access: We will cover your gate fees for the events you attend
- Real-World Experience: Gain hands-on experience in sports journalism by interacting with coaches, players, and other key figures in the softball community

Requirements
Current College Student: You must be enrolled in a college or university.
Local to Events: You must live close to the events you wish to attend, as we cannot cover travel and hotel expenses.
Application Process
Interested candidates should complete the application form, which includes sections for personal information, availability, local tournament suggestions, and short answer questions. We also require two references who can vouch for your skills and qualifications.
