The highly-touted USA Softball GOLD National Championships will return to Oklahoma City, Okla. for the second-straight year with the 2023 edition slated to take place July 16-23.

Gathering in the center of Adventure District, the prestigious event will crown a GOLD National Champion in the 16-Under and 18-Under age divisions on Sunday, July 23 at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex following a week-long battle of pool play and double-elimination bracket play.

Played across various softball complexes in the metro-Oklahoma City area, the Softball Capital of the World will host games throughout the week with additional ballparks being announced at a later date.

“We are thrilled to welcome the pinnacle event of our USA Softball Junior Olympic Championship Play back to Oklahoma City, where a 16-Under and 18-Under GOLD National Champion will be crowned for the second-straight year,” said USA Softball Chief Executive Officer, Craig Cress. “It’s always a special moment to see athletes of all ages step foot on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium where they often grew up watching their role models play in events like the World Cup or Women’s College World Series. We’re looking forward to another great tournament showcasing the best of the best at the Softball Capital of the World.”

A host to the best softball competitions in the world, the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will once again welcome the GOLD National Championships to add to its impressive resume including the NCAA Women’s College World Series, International Cup, various USA Softball National Championships and a pre-Olympic “Stand Beside Her” tour stop for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Softball Team. The 2023 edition of the GOLD Nationals marks the 12th time the tournament has been played in Oklahoma City and third time since the recent stadium renovations in 2019.

The 2023 GOLD National Championships will include 48 berths for each competing division with each team earning a berth through a network of Regional qualifying tournaments and allocated berths.
