Event Recap: PGF Show Me The Money Crowns 14U, 16U and 18U Champions in Florida (Oct. 23, 2022)

Lady Dukes National-Betsa/Hebert/Lamar won the 18U title at PGF Show Me The Money.

The PGF Show Me The Money Tournament in Florida this weekend featured many top 18U, 16U and 14U club teams in Florida:

LADY DUKES-BETSA/HEBERT/LAMAR CLAIMED THE 18U TITLE

2024 LF Alicia Marzouca went 2 for 3 and threw out two runners at home plate as Lady Dukes National-Betsa/Hebert/Lamar defeated Clearwater Lady Bombers Gold-Mason, 4-0, to capture the 18U title at the PGF Show Me The Money on Sunday at UCF Sports Complex In Florida.

The Lady Dukes, who beat BP Academy, 9-2, Crush 04, 3-2, Santa Fe Inferno White, 5-1, Team NC-Hinde, 5-3, Clearwater Lady Bombers Gold-Mason, 7-2, and 4-0, in bracket play, picked up $10,000 for winning the tournament title.

Marzouca batted .500 with a .562 OBP and five runs, 2024 C/3B/1B Sophia Camacho went .428 with a .500 OBP and eight RBIs, 2024 MIF/OF Cali Legzdin batted .438 with a .444 OBP, four runs and three RBIs and 2025 RHP Sydnie Watts went 4-0 with a 0.90 WHIP, 23.1 IP, 1.30 ERA and 23 Ks for the tournament for the Lady Dukes.

Virginia Unity-Johnson/Ross won the 16U title at PGF Show Me The Money.

VIRGINIA UNITY-JOHNSON/ROSS WON THE 16U TITLE

Virginia Unity-Johnson/Ross beat Virginia Unity-Meadows/Spinogatti, 7-2, to claim the 16U title at PGF Show Me The Money in Florida.

Virginia-Johnson/Ross defeated NC Intensity-JJW, 7-2, Lady Dukes Premier-Walker, 11-1, Top Gun National-MC, 6-0, Windermere Wildfire-Paulson, 10-0, and Virginia Unity-Meadows-Spinogatti, 7-2, in bracket play to win $10,000 prize money.

2025 C/IF Brinli Bain batted .789 (15 of 19) with eight RBIs and  nine runs, 2025 IF Kaidance Till hit .688 (11 of 16) with 11RBIs and  eight runs, 2025 OF/P McCall Sims batted .500 (9 of 18) with one HR, eight RBIs and four runs and 2024 P/1B Lilly Parrish had a 0.00 ERA,  17 IP, 22 Ks, 0.294 WHIP and a  .057 batting average against for the Unity for the tournament.

Virginia Unity 2026-Johnson won the 14U title at PGF Show Me The Money.

VIRGINIA UNITY 2026-ROSS PICKED UP THE 14U CHAMPIONSHIP

2027 CF Morgan Waln went 3 for 3 with a triple, a homer, three runs and three RBIs as Virginia Unity 2026-Johnson beat Capital City Diamonds, 10-1, in the 14U final of the PGF Show Me The Money Tournament in Florida.

Virginia Unity 2026-Johnson defeated Miami Stingrays, 4-2, Windermere Wildfire-O’Brien, 8-0, and Capital City Diamonds, 9-0, and, 10-1, in bracket play to win the $5,000 prize money.

2026 RHP Camryn Winiarski and 2026 RHP Abby Conwell combined for 11 strikeouts in 5.0 innings on the shutout in the championship game.

Waln batted .588 with four extra-base hits, 10 runs, six RBIs and five SBs, 2026 OF/P Mylie McCoy hit .545 with two triples, a homer, six runs, seven RBIs and five SBs, 2026 1B/3B/C Emma Newsom hit .455 with two doubles and five RBIs, Winiarski had three wins, and 16Ks in 14.0 IP and Conwell had 10 Ks in 9.0 IP for Unity for the tournament.
