Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database (Feb. 10, 2021)… 40+ New Additions Including Players to ACC & Pac-12
February 10, 2021
Sydney Somerndike, a 2022 pitcher/first baseman with OC Batbusters – Lara/Portesi, is headed to Arizona.
Every commit story is unique and we love to hear how and why recruits end up where they do.
Take Maddie Pomykalski, for example… the 2022 infielder who plays for the Chicago Cheetahs had a vision on where she wanted to play and it had to do with nice weather!
She wrote this week Extra Inning Softball to explain why she committed to North Florida:
Madison Pomykalski
“September 1st, 2020 was a really exciting day that started at 12:01 am. I was fortunate to be on quite a few radars before COVID hit,” she began.
“I had multiple offers from all different conferences and areas of the country, even a few surprise schools showed up. I really enjoyed talking to so many different coaches and getting a chance to know them.”
“I think I surprised many people and schools when I didn’t take any of the Power 5 offers; I just really want to play softball in the South and have a chance to wake up to palm trees every day!”
“Living in Chicago my whole life I wanted a chance to play year-round outside.”
If you’d like to share YOUR story, go to the “I Committed” form to send us info for possible inclusion on our site.
This week we have news on schools such as Abilene Christian, Alabama-Birmingham, Arizona, DePauw, Duke, Missouri State, North Dakota State, North Florida, North Georgia, Suffolk, USA Aiken and dozens more!
Our Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database has surpassed 6,600 players from the Classes of 2018 to 2024 and this week we have 41 more updates to continue making it the biggest in the softball world!
Check back tomorrow when we’ll run the list of the new updated verbals and/or club changes of signed and committed players!
