We're kicking off the New Year with a lot of softball news, from the finalization of the rosters for the USA Softball Women's National Team and Jr. National Team to our kick-off this week of the 2021 Extra Elite 100.
And, as always, there's player updates and movement in the recruiting world and this week we have news ranging from the Pac-12 switch for Sophie Medellin of the So Cal Choppers to new commitments in the 2020 class like Molly Chambers who is headed to Princeton and was ranked by Extra Inning Softball as one of the top 150 players in her class.
Thanks to Chill Head Coach Gerry Quinn who sent us this information on his standout pitcher:
"Molly is a hard working pitcher with a devastating drop ball and offspeed pitch. She had multiple scholarship offers to choose from, but opted for the high academic environment of Princeton and the positive and welcoming nature of their coaching staff."
This week we once again have nearly three dozen new signings, verbals or club team changes added to the database impacting programs such as Duke, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Utah and many more!
This is our searchable “Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database” which is typically updated on Wednesdays and serves as a good tool for prospects of all ages to see which players are going where--especially important when a recruit wants to know if a particular university took five pitchers or three middle infielders in their class!
