Extra Inning Softball is proud to officially announce that tournament performance rankings will be offered free of charge this year to tournament directors and athletes competing in tournaments partnered with Extra Inning Softball.

This initiative marks a significant advancement in how athlete performance is captured, evaluated, and shared—providing structured, data-backed visibility to players across the country.

A New Standard in Tournament Evaluation

Tournament performance rankings will be published publicly on Extra Inning Softball‘s website, ensuring that athletes gain exposure beyond the field and into a national recruiting ecosystem.

Each ranking is built using a proprietary algorithm developed through Extra Inning Softball’s internal software system, designed to evaluate players within the context of the specific tournament they attended.

Rankings will consider:

• Individual player performance offensively and defensively
• Overall team performance and impact on outcomes
• Number of games participated in
• Contextual factors relative to peers at the same event

All tournament performance rankings will be housed on professional, data-driven leaderboards located under the Combine Tab on the Extra Inning Softbal website.
