It was another busy week of commitments for the 2020 and 2021 classes as we have nearly three dozen new updates in the Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database this week!
Also, check back tomorrow (Thursday) when we’ll run the list of the 33 new updated verbals and/or club changes of committed players.
Here are some of the highlights from this week:

We always love it when players write in to share their great news as did Sydney Hartgrove, a 2021 catcher/utility player with the Carolina Cardinals National team who verbaled to Virginia.
Sydney, who is a two-time all-state player at Topsail (Hampstead, North Carolina) High, wrote us through our Contact Us page to say:
“I have been dreaming of this day since I was 5! I have been playing on the national circuit since 12U and several of my 2021 teammates verbally committed prior to the new rule change but I was not one of them.”
“At the time it was very discouraging but as they say ‘Good things come to those who wait.’ This is so true for me and I couldn’t be more excited and proud to verbally commit to the University of Virginia.”
“The coaching staff, the education, culture and facilities are top notch. Go Hoos!! Wahoowa!!!

We also got several new commits via Twitter and Facebook… keep forwarding those social media updates!
