We’ve already seen several major 2022 class commits to major programs in conferences like the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC since college coaches could start contacting prospective student-athletes beginning at midnight on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.
The Texas Longhorns were especially successful on Sept. 1, getting a pair of top 2022 Extra Elite 100 Lone Star State players in SS Leighann Goode and C Reese Atwood to stay in-state:
