To everyone across the country—and even the world, as we have readers globally!—we would like to wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy Independence Day 2021!
The 4th of July means we’re in the heart of the summer and we’re excited that there’s a lot more softball to be played including the Tokyo Olympics coming up in a few short weeks!
We will continue to tell stories, profile top players and teams at all levels, compile rankings and let you know what’s going on in the softball community!
We have nationals coming up this month in club ball as well and for us at Extra Inning Softball we are also busy with these projects:
- we’re a week away from announcing our 2021 Extra Inning Softball High School All-American Teams
- next month we will launch our updated 2024 Extra Elite 100
- we soon will announce details on our Rankings Yearbook (printed book)
- also, look for our online store to be unveiled
Focusing on today’s holiday, despite all that’s happened in the last year–from pandemics to social unrest–we feel there are a lot of great things we can appreciate and celebrate in our nation and, as one who has lived overseas while serving as a church missionary, I am grateful for the freedoms and opportunities we do have and enjoy on a daily basis.
May you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend with whatever you desire most: softball, family, friends, great food, fireworks, celebration of faith and blessings and much, much more!
