LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Brooklyn Donatone of Faith Christian Academy (Arvada, Colo.) was named MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week.
Donatone is being recognized for her outstanding performance during the week of Oct. 4-10.
The senior powered the Eagles to three victories last week with a nearly perfect showing at the plate, going 10-for-11 (.909), driving in 15 runs and scoring 10 times. She slugged 1.545, courtesy of two doubles, a triple and a home run and reached base at a .923 clip.
After homering and knocking in three runs versus Manual, Donatone was 6-for-7 with a pair of doubles, a triple, eight RBI and six runs scored versus Yuma.
The hitter wrapped up the week in game two against Yuma by going 3-for-3, registering four RBI and three runs scored.

The MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week is announced on NFCA.org every Monday during the fall season. During the spring campaign, a player from each of five separate high school regions is selected.
