2024 Schedule

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Pitt softball program announced its 2024 regular season schedule and the Panthers will open the season on Feb. 9 against Memphis with their home opener slated for March 19 against Penn State.

Pitt begins the season on the road for the first six weeks, playing 26 games from Feb. 9-March 17. The Panthers kick off the spring with three tournaments, playing at the LSU Invitational (Feb. 9-11), Kennesaw State Tournament (Feb. 16-18) and the USF Tournament (Feb. 23-25). Pitt will face four 2023 NCAA tournament teams in the opening three weeks, facing off against LSU (Feb. 10-11), Ole Miss (Feb. 16, 18), Washington (Feb. 23), and Oklahoma State (Feb. 24).

The Panthers open ACC play at Georgia Tech (March 1-3) before heading to the Florida Gulf Coast Spring Break Classic (March 8-10). Pitt will face FIU (March 12) in a midweek matchup before traveling to Blacksburg, Va. for a three-game conference series at Virginia Tech (March 15-17)

Pitt returns to Vartabedian Field for its home opener March 19, and will play eight straight home games from March 19-31. The Panthers will host Florida State (March 22-24) and Louisville (March 29-31).

The April slate includes five non-conference games with Robert Morris (April 2, April 30), Akron (April 9), Ohio State (April 17), and Ohio (April 24). The Panthers will also play three ACC contests at Boston College (April 5-7) and will host North Carolina (April 12-14) and Syracuse (April 19-21) at Vartabedian Field.

Pitt concludes the regular season on the road at NC State (May 3-5) with the ACC Tournament scheduled for May 8-11, hosted by Duke in Durham, N.C.
