Mineral Springs Changes the Culture

The Mineral Springs Lady Hornets have rewritten their program’s story. Once a team that struggled to finish seasons, they’ve become undefeated conference champions, district tournament winners, and—after 23 years—a state tournament team. Under first-year head coach Jessica Williams, the Lady Hornets powered through adversity with character, culture, and contagious belief.

From roster-wide buy-in to battling upper-class competition, this team proved that change is possible—and winning is a byproduct of heart, trust, and hard work.

Keep reading to see how the Lady Hornets made history—and why this season means more than just wins.
