Former Marshall and Ole Miss slugger Mya Stevenson is joining the coaching staff at Abilene Christian.
Stevenson, who earned All-American honors while at Marshall in 2022, will embark on her first coaching role at ACU. According to a school press release, she will fill the position of volunteer assistant coach.
“I am thrilled to add Mya to our staff,” said ACU Head Coach Abigail Farler. “She will be a great addition bringing a lot of experience and energy. Mya played under high-level coaching and has an incredible passion for the game. I am excited to get her to Abilene!”
The all-time Marshall home run queen, Stevenson spent the first four years of her career with the Thundering Herd before spending the final year of her career at Ole Miss in 2023. She finished her career with 71 home runs and earned a trio of all-conference honors while at Marshall.
