Photo Gallery: The Best of College Softball’s Halloween Costumes!

Check out the San Diego State coaching staff as five central characters from the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Between Halloween-themed practices and workouts last week and extra dressing-up over the weekend, college softball players and coaches had some serious ingenuity and creativity on display this Halloween.

We compiled some of our very favorites for your viewing enjoyment… check these out!

UMBC head coach Chris Kuhlmeyer as a clown – if coaching doesnt work out for the back-to-back conference champion, then the circus is a real possibility!
The Miami coaching staff pulled off a stellar recreation of a photo from popular show Ted Lasso. The costumes were so good, the shows official Instagram reposted the effort.
The LSU bullpen were Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with head coach Beth Torina (far right) even hitting grounders during practice in her full-length Snow White costume!
Members of the LSU staff were everything from the Apple to the Mirror in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

One of four group costumes at Abilene Christian, meet “The Mikes” – including Michael Jordan, Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc, Mike Tyson, Michael Scott from The Office, and others.
More Willy Wonka – this time, it’s a group costume featuring players from UC-Riverside!
Canisius head coach Kim Griffin was part of a well-executed group costume, four central characters from the 1990s show Home Improvement! Including Tim “The Toolman” Taylor, Heidi, Al Borland, and Wilson.
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then the Illinois State strength coach should be VERY flattered at the teams group-wide single costume!

Chattanooga softball had several standout customs… first, Ben Franklin.

Last but not least… Arkansas head coach Courtney Deifel as Ted Lasso.
The Delaware staff and family recreated the main characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid – take note of head coach Jen Steeles impressive commitment to being Flounder!
