Easton Diamond Sports, the industry leader in equipment innovation and technology, announced today the launch of a new line of fastpitch gloves designed and curated by Easton ambassadors who represent the top athletes and coaches at their positions.
Each glove was designed specifically for the female athlete, and the entire series is packed with personal touches to inspire like never before.
“Easton is thrilled to have partnerships with the best ambassadors in the sport. These women are the experts at each position and dug deep with our product team to bring to the market meticulously crafted gloves designed specifically for the next generation”, said Julie Tobyansen, Softball Sports Marketing Manager.
Morgan Stuart
The new gloves are the most premium fastpitch gloves ever developed by Easton and incorporate the same premium materials and advanced technology used in the gloves for the company’s MLB signature gloves.
The gloves were designed with a great deal of input and personal touches from Easton ambassadors; Jen Schroeder, Morgan Stuart, Lauren Chamberlain, and Haylie McCleney and represent the first female signature gloves in the company’s history.
Schroeder oversaw the development of her very successful signature line of fastpitch catching gear and bags in 2019 and 2020. She will add her signature 34-inch catching glove to her collection featuring the model name RUDI-2020 in tribute to her daughter.
Lauren Chamberlain
“My hope for this glove is that it will empower softball catchers everywhere. I envision an athlete slipping this on their hands and immediately feeling more confident in their abilities. Yes, it’s named after my daughter, Rudi, but the development meant so much more than that – it was specifically designed for the girl whose play will inspire the next generation – whose passion for the game is infectious for anyone who’s lucky enough to compete beside or against her. I can’t wait for those girls to get their hands in it and I hope it helps them strive for greatness both on and off the field.” said Schroeder.
The Morgan Stuart 11.75-inch infield glove will feature an open web using the ideal fit system and extended finger stalls for more leverage. The glove features her motto, “Defense Wins Championships”.
“I am so excited for this glove to come out, it is truly a statement piece that will send the message that you as a softball player are important and deserve the best! My goal was to help develop a quality tool for these players to use during their career to give them confidence on and off the field.” said Stuart.
Haylie McCleney
Lauren Chamberlain brings a luxurious 12.5-inch first base mitt adorned with LC44 for Lauren Chamberlain and her number in college. The glove features the Easton Quantum Closure System with a snakeskin back with a chrome binding.
“My goal was to help establish a higher level of play when wearing this glove. With the fit, the feel, the materials; the higher standard in this glove is what is going to help you believe in a higher standard for yourself and take you to the next level” said Chamberlain.
Just ahead of softball’s return to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Easton will launch outfielder Haylie McCleney’s signature outfielders’ glove. The 12.75-inch trap web glove features a red, white and blue colorway and features the Easton Quantum Closure System with a snakeskin back with a chrome binding. McCleney is the only ambassador on team Easton who will compete in the summer games.
“The purpose behind this glove is more than to assist in the home run stealing moments, but to inspire young women to continue to chase their dreams. I am so excited for these women to experience this glove, this has been one of the coolest things I’ve been a part of and I am so thankful for Easton.” said McCleney.
