The River City Summer Showcase hosted by Softball Preps is expanding its footprint in 2026, and the Midwest recruiting landscape is paying attention.
Scheduled for June 11–14, 2026, at the premier Deaconess Sports Complex in Evansville, this elite 14U–18U fastpitch showcase is evolving into a semi-annual recruiting destination. After building momentum as a fall event since its launch in October 2022, River City now adds a summer edition—strategically positioned during peak recruiting season.
For travel programs seeking legitimate exposure and competitive structure, this event is becoming a serious calendar priority.
