Starting Next Monday: 2021 Extra Elite 100 Rankings Begin; Submission Deadline Is This Wednesday

One week from today, the updated 2021 Extra Elite 100 will kick off featuring the top fastpitch players in the junior class.

Starting on Monday, January 20—and for the following three weeks—the coverage will include:

• the 2021 Extra Elite 100 top-ranked prospects and where they’re committed,
• the players ranked #’s 101-500,
• a spotlight on the top player in the 2021 class,
• the final Top College Recruiting Rankings list which will reveal which DI programs had the highest-ranked classes.

Player information needs to be forwarded by 9 pm EST this Wednesday (January 15) to ensure consideration.: [email protected]

To compile the rankings, the Extra Inning Softball staff has been in touch with more than 250 club and college scouts and coaches nationwide.

Led by Extra Inning Softball’s Executive Editor Brentt Eads — who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball and has ranked 11 grad year classes from 2014 to 2024—the new 2021 Extra Elite 100 will have the most extensive and thorough rankings and bios available along with head shots of every player.

• Tues., February 4: #’s 101-200

If you would like to submit a player to be nominated, send us player stats, honors, individual and team accomplishments, recruiting news (signings, trips, contacts, etc.), human interest insights and a head shot and, if available, a good action photo.
