Sydney Coffey, an outfielder for Louisville Lady Sluggers – Hartman, has faced more than just tough competition on the field. Diagnosed with moderate bilateral sensorineural hearing loss in fourth grade, Coffey has had to navigate the challenges of playing a team sport that relies heavily on verbal communication. Through resilience, innovation, and a strong support system, she has proven that nothing can hold her back.
