Can you talk about your team? “Team NC Shook has 12 weapons that can be used interchangeably on the field,” Coach Shook said. “We have a team of athletes who have been successful playing at the highest level of softball. But, more important than what we have done on the field is what we strive for off the field. We believe in building strong young ladies and providing them with opportunities to be successful as grown adults.”

“We believe that the friendships and bonds they build with each other off the field will translate to more successful play on the field. We don’t invite a young lady to be on Team NC Shook solely based on ability and athleticism. We make our selections carefully based on how they can or will contribute to our team culture both on and off the field. A culture we have worked the last eight years to build. Our girls are more than players, they are sisters who work not only for themselves, but for each other. These girls are the true definition of TEAM.”
