What will it take for your team to be successful this year?
With one of the best pitching staffs in the country and a great defense, our success hinges on a more consistent offense. If we execute and manufacture runs using a combination of small ball and power, we will be tough to beat.

Who is your No. 1 pitcher and can you describe her skills? Who are the other pitchers on your staff and can you describe their skills?

  • Rylee Church is a big power pitcher with great command of all her pitches (curve, screw, drop and change). Fastball is 57-plus. One of the best overall pitchers in Texas. She went 31-11 with 292 Ks in 272 innings pitched in 2019.
  • Lauryn Soeken spins the ball as well as anyone in the 2025 class. Throws curve, screw, change and rise with command. She went 12-4 with a 2.49 ERA and struck out 87 in 98 innings in the fall.
  • Bailey Barber went 36-10 with 212 Ks in 254 innings in 2019. Throws a heavy fastball which is complemented with a change, curve and drop.
  • Kimber Moraw (2025, P/OF) is a power pitcher with 55-plus speed, great control of all four pitches (drop, curve, change and fastball.

Can you describe your offense and what some of the strengths are?
One of the most athletic, fast teams around. They have a unique combination of speed and power. With four extremely fast slap hitters, it creates a ton of opportunities for the right-handed hitters in the lineup.
