What will it take for your team to be successful this year?
We have four quality pitchers with a solid defense behind them. In order for us to be successful this year, we will need to continue to play good defense and become more efficient with runners in scoring position on offense.
Who is your No. 1 pitcher and can you describe her skills? Who are the other pitchers on your staff and can you describe their skills?
Brylee Brewster is advanced physically and mentally. Her velocity is between 59-61 mph and spins the ball very well. Brylee is currently 5-foot-7, has long arms and currently throws a fastball, cutter, change-up, drop ball and is developing a rise ball. She camped at Missouri and has been invited back and other D1 schools have extended camp invites.
Bre Severino is an all-around athlete that has developed into an exceptional pitcher! Bre’s velocity is between 58-60 mph and she moves the ball very well. Bre is 5-foot-7, has long limbs and currently throws a fastball, drop ball, curve and change-up.
Can you describe your offense and what some of the strengths are?
Our offense has a good balance of speed and power. We are very aggressive with our base running and try to make the defense as uncomfortable as possible.
